The Shelby Ministry Center serves as a hub for spiritual growth, community connection, and family support. Through small groups, we provide a space for individuals to deepen their faith, build meaningful relationships, and find encouragement in a close-knit community. Our church events bring people together for worship, fellowship, and service, strengthening the bonds within our congregation.

Central to our mission is the Family Foundations Ministry, which offers vital resources and support to foster and adoptive families. By providing training, support groups, material assistance, and opportunities for respite and connection, we empower these families to thrive. The Shelby Ministry Center is dedicated to nurturing faith, fostering community, and supporting families in their journey.

Family Foundations Ministry

Play
The Play pillar of our Family Foundations vision offers families exciting outings and engaging, fun programs and events. We create joyful experiences that strengthen family bonds and provide much-needed relaxation for caregivers, ensuring every family enjoys quality time together in a supportive and loving empowerment.
Support
The Family Foundations Vision includes support for families who are fostering, adopting, or caring for kin. We seek to provide financial, educational, and emotional assistance to ensure a loving and stable environment for every child. Collaborations with community organizations aim to offer the best care and guidance. The goal is to create a future where all children thrive in secure and loving homes.
Connection
Family Foundations Ministry is dedicated to strengthening fostering and adoptive families by providing comprehensive support and fostering meaningful connections. This support system is vital to the success of a families journey and solidifies their commitment to fostering.
Training
Training is crucial because fostering and adopting children come with unique challenges that require specialized knowledge and skills. By equipping parents with proper training, we help them to navigate complex emotional, behavioral, and practical issues, ensuring they can provide a stable, nurturing environment, ultimately leading to stronger, more resilient families.

Rest
Our vision focuses on providing respite and relief to fostering and adoptive families. We offer opportunities for parents to unwind through activities like dinner or coffee, complete with childcare support. By creating moments of rest and relaxation, we help families recharge, reduce stress, and maintain a healthy balance, ultimately enhancing their ability to care for their children.
Recruiting
Recruiting is crucial for expanding the ministry's impact by attracting new families, volunteers, and supporters, ensuring more children find loving homes and families receive necessary support. It also creates a strong community network offering resources and guidance, essential for the ministry's growth and reaching more families in need.
