Our Services

Education Services

We partner with local schools and programs to assist in educating children in our community.

Sherman Elementary

Crossroads City Center partners with Sherman Elementary, providing mentoring and tutoring opportunities for students. Having one-on-one interaction with students, building relationships and assisting them in their reading and writing skills is not only a benefit to the students, but their parents and teachers as well.

Learning Pods

Collaborating with Tyger Digital Academy, City Center Learning Pods provide an educational atmosphere where virtual learning students in our community have the opportunity to fulfill their intellectual, emotional, physical and psychological growth.

Triple P Parenting Classes

Parenting classes provided by Nationwide Children’s Hospital cover discussion topics such as disobedience, potty training, and healthy discipline.

Foster Parent Ministry

We are partnering with local agencies to train and support foster and kinship families. In Richland County alone, there are nearly 800 children in open cases per month, 240 children in kinship care, and 96 children in foster care.

There are so many young lives who desperately need supportive and loving homes.  One of our goals at the City Center is to help train and prepare families to raise foster children, as well as support those who are already fostering children.

Physical

We believe that meeting physical needs helps open doors to Gospel conversations.

Coffee & Laundry Days

Tuesday and Thursday 9-11am

Every Tuesday and Thursday we offer free laundry services for our community. We will wash and dry one load of laundry per guest each time they visit. A free hygiene bag, coffee, snacks, and fellowship are offered during this time as well.  We firmly believe that helping to provide for this physical need opens the door to building trust and relationships within the community which gives us a way to share our ultimate need for Jesus.

Blanket & Clothing Distribution

We frequently host a blanket and clothing distributions for the community throughout the year. We believe helping to meet some of these physical needs will help open the door to build relationships and ultimately share our hope in Jesus.

Health Fairs

We host free health fairs at the City Center, partnering with local medical agencies to provide free medical services to the community. Some of these services will include checking cholesterol and blood pressure and blood screening.

Re: cycle

We serve many people who want to work but do not have rides to and from work, and families who have to walk everywhere. We collect new, used and old bikes and refurbish them to give them away to adults who are in need of transportation to and from work and kids who must do a lot of walking to get to appointments.

Restore

We desire to walk alongside those who are hurting, providing counseling and mentoring programs
