Campus Upgrades

Home to the church's central offices, simulcast site, and home to one of the largest gathering spaces in North Central Ohio, Park Avenue's building itself is nearly 35 years old and in need of certain upgrades that will keep Crossroads running at the highest capacity possible. At our Shelby Campus, we are continuing to prepare for our launch of the new Crossroads Ministry Center in downtown Shelby. At our Ontario Campus, Upgrades to key areas will help us continue to facilitate classes, groups, and students for the foreseeable future.

Campus Multiplication

Increase quality ministry space and reach new neighborhoods/communities by launching new multi-venue campuses through healthy acquisitions and strategic locations. As a regional church (with 222,000 residents with more than 100,000 unchurched), Crossroads desires to make a difference with the gospel of Christ in the communities we represent. Crossroads has been approached about potential campuses in places like Ashland and Crawford County. We believe that these, and other communities like it, provide an amazing place to continue to push our potential into the future.

Church Planting and Network

As we look to the future, Crossroads will begin to identify areas for priority church planting efforts based on demographic needs, i.e. metropolitan, suburban, rural, and global areas with high density of unchurched/ de-churched people. Partnering Church Plants will be a part of the Crossroads Church Network and will receive coaching, accountability, leadership development, and small group community from the network leadership and pastors.

Future Women's Home

Crossroads has an amazing opportunity to launch a women’s home and hub. This home will provide a safe place for women who find themselves in crisis and to resource crisis prevention for younger women by coming alongside them to offer: Rest from Trauma, Redemption in Christ, Restoration for Self, Family, and Society, Resources to Solve the Problem Before the Need.

Foster Family Care

In partnership with Fostering Family Ministries, we desire to come alongside foster families to provide care, support, and encouragement. Our goal is to connect a family or small group at Crossroads with one foster family in our community. We believe if we would journey with one foster family, more people would be able to foster children, and more vulnerable children would be in a safe and supportive home.

Ministry Residency Program

The Crossroads Church Residency Program is a one to two-year leadership training program designed to provide hands-on experience working with one of our staff teams, personal mentoring, and leadership coaching to equip emerging church leaders for a lifetime of impactful ministry.

EquipYou

EquipYou is a website-based resource hub for Crossroads attendees and Christians. Life is full of questions, and we don’t shy away from them. EquipYou is a place you can find information about topics from everyday life and understand better how the Bible and our theology informs our understanding of the world around us, with many resources from articles to podcasts, and books to videos.

LifeWise Academy

As a church, we want to make the gospel known in every space that God allows. One of the ways we do this is by partnering with healthy organizations that are helping fulfill the mission of gospel transformation. LifeWise Academy is a Released Time Religious Instruction (RTRI) program which provides Bible-based character education to public school students. LifeWise Academy serves students by offering practical Bible-based education for the betterment of students’ academic performance, character development and mental health. We believe all students can benefit from the message of the Bible and take great care to make all instruction relatable and helpful to those without a church or Christian background.

Ontario Campus Debt Reduction

God desires us to gain financial freedom by paying off the remaining mortgage at our Ontario Campus over the next 3 years. By relieving us of the current mortgage we will have the opportunity to strengthen our gospel footprint in Ontario and throughout the region. This will position our church for even greater engagement of our mission and core values.

How? We believe God is challenging Crossroads to take a bold next step of faith together to raise this money through a financial giving campaign where each Crossroads attendee is asked to give beyond their regular tithes and offerings for three years to help reach this ambitious goal.

Pick up a commitment card at the Info Desk or the Church Office if you don't have one. Fill it out and place that card in the giving mailboxes outside the auditorium or to the church office. Or fill out an online version here:

After filling out a commitment form, set up your gift through your Crossroads online giving (Pushpay). Give a one-time gift or set up a reoccurring gift by selecting "Next Campaign" in the drop-down menu.
