How much of a difference can a week make? More than you think. We partner with multiple Global and Regional partners to share Jesus’ love with people around the world. Together, our churches are making a lasting impact in the communities we serve.

Around the world, children are growing up without parents, without a safe place to call home, no access to clean water and without an education. Crossroads Missions gives these children a future and families hope by partnering with Asia’s Hope and Mission Impact. We also value the development of strong Christ-following leaders around the world. So many established and upcoming leaders have little access to the resources we take for granted. Through a partnership with GlobalLead, we support high-quality strategic trainings in countries all over the world.

By partnering with these organizations, we can participate in ministry that continues long after our team comes home. Christ-followers are raised up and supported to then carry on the work of the local church in their communities. And when we work together, we begin to see The Great Commission happening before our eyes: "You will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth." - Acts 1:8

But mission trips don’t just change the lives of those we serve. Mission trips change those who go as well. Seeing God at work around the world will expand your understanding of who He is and the power of His church.

What is the age requirement to participate on a Crossroads Missions Trip?

For Cambodia trips, we ask for the participants to be at least 16 years old. Anyone under the age of 18 must have parent or extended family member accompany them on a mixed adult/student trip. For Guatemala trips, students age 10-16 years old may participate if accompanied by a parent. There is an opportunity for select students to participate in a Student Guatemala trip every other year.

Do I have to be a member of Crossroads to apply for the trip?

No, you do not have to be a member of Crossroads to apply. We do give preference to child sponsors and members who volunteer at Crossroads. You can learn more about Membership and Serving here:

How long is the trip?

The trip is 14 days, including travel for Cambodia and 8 days including travel for Guatemala.

Is a passport required?

Yes. Traveling outside the United States requires an up-to-date passport. You must have at least 6 months remaining on your passport from the last date of the trip. (example – travel return date is May 1st, your passport must be good beyond Nov 1st.) Passports cost approximately $175. On how to apply for a U.S. Passport visit here.

Did my application go through?

You will receive a confirmation email as soon as we can get back to you after submitting your application. If you did not, please fill out the application again.

What happens to my application if I’m not selected for a specific trip?

If you are not selected your application goes onto a waiting list. If another trip leader is still looking for people for their team, then they may contact you to see if you are interested.

What vaccinations do I need to get? Please visit the CDC website for the country you are traveling to and consult your medical doctor to determine what vaccinations you will need. Vaccinations can be obtained at the Richland County Health Department and some insurance do reimburse for these.

How can I see what is happening on mission trips?

Follow along on the Crossroads GO Mission Facebook page as we travel around the world!

If we did not answer your questions about the trip, please contact us for more details.

You don’t have to travel across the world to make a difference in a child’s life. When you sponsor a team, you can support a specific trip participant or give to the team as a whole.

By giving toward a mission trip, you are investing in life change for trip participants as well as the children they serve.
