The STEP UP MEN’S CONFERENCE is a rally cry for men who refuse to coast or settle for mediocrity in their faith and lives.

MEET THE SPEAKERS

Dr. Derwin L. Gray is the co-founding and Lead Pastor of Transformation Church near Charlotte, NC, and a former NFL player with the Indianapolis Colts and Carolina Panthers. He is the recipient of the John M. Perkins Justice Award. The award is given to a visionary leader whose life and work exemplify the principles of biblical justice. He is also an award-winning author who has published several books, including “How to Heal Our Racial Divide: What the Bible Says, and What the First Century Christians Knew about Racial Reconciliation” and new release, “Lit Up With Love: Becoming Good-News People To A Gospel-Starved World”.

Josiah Jones is a husband, dad, and disciple-maker based in Dallas, TX. After chasing the world through sports, relationships, and addiction, Jesus radically changed his life in college. For over 18 years, he has helped people find true life in Christ through student, young adult, and men’s ministry. He previously served at Watermark Community Church in Dallas with The Porch and helped launch Armada, a discipleship movement for men. He now serves with BetterMan as the National Church and Champions Director, equipping churches across the country to disciple men toward biblical manhood. Josiah and his wife Cathy have three amazing kids: Camille, Isabella, and Caleb.

Andrew Anderson serves as the Lead Pastor of Crossroads Church in the greater Mansfield, Ohio area, leading with vision, passion, and a commitment to transformational ministry. Crossroads is a thriving, multigenerational, multi-site church with campuses in Mansfield, Ontario, and Waterford, along with a prison campus, a community center, and a growing online platform. A gifted communicator and sought-after speaker, Andrew connects biblical truth with practical leadership, equipping leaders through churches, conferences, retreats, executive gatherings, and workshops nationwide. He is also a church revitalization specialist, coach, consultant, and leadership strategist, and the founder of the Framework Coaching Network and Central School of Ministry. Andrew has been married to his wife, Stacy, since 2002 and is a proud father of six and a recent grandfather.

Dr. Chris Harper [aka Harp] is a speaker, writer, and disciple-maker serving as the CEO of BetterMan. Equipping more than 7500+ churches and 1,000,000+ men,  BetterMan is calling the Church back to men. Chris is passionate about biblical manhood and often speaks on topics such as a man’s identity in Christ and the importance of being a gospel-centered husband and father. Chris desires to see generations of men grasp who they are in Christ and come alive! Chris received his Masters degree from Dallas Theological Seminary and his Doctorate from the Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. Chris and his wife, Ally, live with their four children—Scarlett, Malachi, Calvin, and Oliver—in Arlington, Texas. In addition to his family, Chris loves pick-up basketball, a good cheeseburger, and firmly believes Jordan is better than Lebron.

Who is this conference for?

Can I bring my son?

Absolutely. If he’s 16 or older, this is a powerful opportunity to experience something life-changing together.

What happens after the conference ends?
