Café Team

What We Do

The Crossroads Cafe is a place for friends to gather and relax before and after services. The Café Team helps to encourage these environments by serving quick and fun foods, specialty coffee drinks and the most popular cold drinks. We have a lot of fun serving the wide variety of people that attend our church, but we especially enjoy serving the first time attendee who is wowed by the experience of a café inside of a church.

Come join our team if you love meeting and serving people or if you just enjoy making great coffee drinks. If you would like more information serving on the Cafe Team, please email Greg Rudrick.

Guest Services

Team Purpose

To provide a warm and caring attitude to those who enter through the doors of Crossroads Community Church.

What We Do

Because we are the first face that a guest sees when they walk through the doors, it is important to offer them warmth and comfort that will make them to want to come back again and again. Be aware of individuals and their response when entering the doors.  A newcomer is usually nervous and unfamiliar with the surroundings of Crossroads. If we believe the individual to be new to our church, we offer assistance in finding the auditorium, restrooms, children’s classrooms, etc. Always extending a hand in friendship and always wearing a warm smile to accompany the handshake.  Welcome with words such as, “Glad to see you,” “Welcome,” or “We’re so glad you are here today”. Let them know that they are important. Watch for attendees to have on our team; people with a nice smile and friendly personality and then . . . invite them into ministry and on the team!

What We Do

We lovingly care for children birth-2 years, so parents can attend service and worship without worry. This may include playing with and directing play; or holding, rocking, and feeding babies. It is never too early to begin nurturing a child’s relationship with God. Even in the nursery, age-appropriate Bible lessons help begin what we hope will be a lifelong relationship with Him. Be part of a team that will make an eternal difference in a child’s life!

Safety Services

Team Purpose

Our team purpose is to provide safety, security, and information for our members, guests and their families through our presence.

What We Do

Our team, both men and women, exists to deal with emergency situations, i.e. medical, severe weather, fire alarms, confrontations, electrical outages or even threatening telephone calls. In the unthinkable event of a situation such as a bomb threat, kidnapping or missing child, we are here to initiate and implement either an evacuation or a lock-down. People might wonder why a church would require a Safety Services Team.  We believe that it is far greater to be here, well prepared in the event of an emergency, than to realize the need after the fact.
