What can I do with myCrossroads? Find groups to join, interact with other members in your groups, see events you might want to attend, participate in discussions, meet the needs of others and find volunteer positions based on your passions and gifts. You’ll also be able to set up your financial giving, register (and pay, if required) for events, view group and church-wide calendars, share documents and sign up for specific ministry news.

Top 10 Things To Help You Maximize myCrossroads:

  1. Update your profile - When you log into my Crossroads go to the upper right corner of the screen and click on "Go to my profile". This will take you to your profile page. In the right margin you will see a list under "Profile settings". Click "Edit Profile". Please update your profile accordingly. Your personal information is safe and encrypted. Please keep in mind, the more information you provide us, the more we will be able to assist you in getting plugged into the ministry at Crossroads.
  2. Upload a photo of yourself - If you do nothing else, please make sure you upload a photo of yourself. You can do this on the "Edit Profile" page. As you know, Crossroads is a large church and a picture of you will help Crossroads staff to recognize you so we may serve you better. Also, we don't have a church "directory". myCrossroads fills this need. Photos will help you recognize others as well.
  3. View Your Financial Information - You can track your giving from your profile page. You will see a series of tabs beneath your photo and contact information. Select the "Financial" tab. Here you will see all your recent contributions. You can even print a giving statement. Click here to see a video tutorial on how to print your giving statement. You can also give to the ministry with a one-time gift or set up a repeating gift through your checking account or credit card. All you need to do is click on the "Give" button at the bottom of the page and follow the easy prompts.
  4. Adust your ability to serve - From your profile, in the right margin click on "Adust ability to serve". This gives you the chance to "block out" days that you are unable to serve.
  5. Set Communication Preferences - This page shows your default communitcation settings for the groups you are in. If you like to receive text message alerts you can enter your mobile number and carrier and select what groups you would like to receive text messages from. We would recommend you do this for at least the "Entire Church Group" so that you would receive important messages from the chruch.
  6. Check your family information - If you have a spouse and/or children that attend Crossroads, click on the "Family" tab to double check to make sure everyone is accounted for with the proper information. If family members need to be added then drop us an email and please provide: Name(s), address, phone number, birthday, gender, family relationship (spouse, child, etc). Please remember that for safety reasons, information on children under the age of 12 is not accessable to anyone other that you and church staff.
  7. Become Familiar with Your Home Page -  You will see a series of tabs along the top margin. Click on "Home" to see your home page. This page is the hub of all your myCrossroads activitiy. You can manage your church calendar, see all the messages posted in all the groups/serve teams to which you belong, and to the right you see a list of all the groups of which you participate. You should be in at least one group - "Entire Church Group", but you won't be in just one group for long if we have anyting to say about it! :-)
  8. Search For Groups/Serve Teams to join - Click on the "Groups" tab. This will take you to a list of all your groups. To browse new groups click "or discover a new group". Set the parameters you are looking for and voila see your search results. When you find a group, you can contact the group/team leader by email.
  9. Search for Friends - Click on the "People" tab you can search for fellow Crossroaders by typing their name in the search bar. When looking at another individual's profile, you only see the information they have decided to make public. You can allow individuals to see more of your information if you designate them as friends. From their profile under "Actions" in the right margin, click "Add to my friends list". This allows them to see profile information you designate to be available for friends to see. But this does not allow you to see more of their profile unless they designate you as a friend. If you can't see much on an indivdual's profile, it is likely because you are not a member of Crossroads. Non-members are listed as a limited access user. Members of Crossroads have more user privileges than non-members (hey, there's gotta be some other benefits to membership!).
  10. Communicate with other Crossroaders - When you pull up another individual's profile on myCrossroads, you can send them an email clicking "send and email" found under "Actions" in the right margin.
